THE TRAP OF SELF-IMPOSED LIMITATIONS

THE TRAP OF SELF-IMPOSED LIMITATIONS

What is stopping you from being successful? What is sabotaging you? The truth is that each one of us has some self-imposed limitations. Here are the top three common limitations which keep deep fulfilment away from you.

Procrastination

It signifies the lack of timely actions. If you wait for the perfect moment, you will wait forever because it doesn’t exist. Postoning for later will do no good. You will tap into the power of compounding and big piles of unfinished work will start troubling your peace.

What have you been procrastinating for too long?

Blame

This is when you pin the responsibility on someone else. Blame actually protects your ego and keeps you feeling safe. But it will not take you anywhere. You need to stop pointing a finger at other people and realise that you are the one who bears the full responsibility for your life.

Who or what are you blaming right now?

Excuses

They are related to the refusal to accept and deal with reality. People use them when they don’t want to face some consequences that might appear if they make a move. Excuses never lead to success.

What are your excuses for not going after a dream?

You can change. Stop looking at yourself as somebody who is not capable of doing something. If you keep doing nothing, your circumstances in the next 5 years will be worse than the circumstances now. Make a new decision. Take action.
